Excuse the title - it's not a woe. My cousin is getting married next month in NY and I am so ecstatic for her and her beau. But this very important event begs the question:
"What to wear?"
My closet is full with clothes, but nothing has seemed quite right for this event. My cousin and I are pretty close in age, but I've always admired her and I can't half step on her very special day. I have less than a month to buy a dress so I need to get to it.
The only major rule I subscribe to for wedding wear is to not wear white or anything in the white family - otherwise it's fair gain for other colors, including black. (Yes, you can wear black to a wedding - I googled it!) Because it's an outdoor fall evening wedding I'm going to opt for dresses with sleeves; I'm also steering more towards an A-line dress because it's more flattering especially after drinks and dinner.
After some perusing here are some of my picks so far:

Harlow Faux Wrap Dress; Kiyonna; $118

Danika Draped Dress: Kiyonna; $118

Daphne Wrap Dress; Igigi; $122

Jessica Simpson Lace Print Satin Dress; Nordstroms $168
Which one would you pick? Whatever I choose to wear I'll make sure to post pics.
I'm interested to know, what are your wedding wear rules?
~Luvin' My Curves... so excited to hear them say "I Do".

I am loving the Danika Draped Dress: Kiyonna; Although it is considered a fall wedding and the color is more springy, I say expand out the box and go for it!
I like them in order of how you have posted them (the 2 Kiyonnas are my fave).
I think the final one you posted might be a bit too summery.
I love to wear colour to weddings, but am always cautious not to wear the same colour as the bridesmaids.
Totally with you on wearing A-line, we've had a few regrets on our style of dresses just coz we didn't put drinks and dinner into consideration. The first and third are our favs.
