ONESTOPPLUS.COM TO REVOLUTIONIZE NEW YORK FASHION WEEK ONCE AGAIN

Can't make it to NYFW? You can still get a peek!

Largest Plus-Size Online Retailer to Produce First Virtual Runway Show to
                    Be Simulcast Throughout the World
For the first time in history, plus-size women around the world can partake in New York Fashion Week as
OneStopPlus.com takes the runway to the masses via the web. The Redcats brand and leading destination for curvy women who demand high style in plus-size fashion will produce the first virtual plus-size fashion show to
coincide with New York Fashion Week. On February 17, 2011 at 1pm EST, OneStopPlus.com will offer women around the world a front-row seat to enjoy the premier viewing of its exclusive plus-size fall fashion collection. The one-of-a-kind fashion show can be viewed at www.ospfashionshow.com via computer, smart phone, iPad and iTouch. The internet simulcast will air globally in numerous countries around the world, including: United States, France, United Kingdom, Belgium, Sweden. In addition to the internet simulcast, the virtual plus-size runway show will broadcast live from a Jumbo-Tron in New York City’s famed Times Square.

OneStopPlus.com is no stranger to innovation in the plus-size realm. The brand initially made fashion history with the first plus-size runway show to coincide with the prestigious New York Fashion Week in September 2010. Now revolutionizing the industry once again, the epic fashion event will celebrate the future of fashion with the validation of real-women in the fashion industry. As the plus-size fashion category has become a thriving element in the industry with features in top European and American publications, Fall 2011 Fashion Week is the ideal time for OneStopPlus.com to cross the high-fashion threshold with an inspiring collection that has the capacity to reach millions.

“What originally started as OneStopPlus.com’s vision for a fashion show quickly became a voice for the 62% of American women who wear size 12 and up,” said Stephanie Sobel, President of OneStopPlus.com Group. “Afterproducing the first “plus-size only” runway show in September 2010 Fashion Week, we wanted to expand our platform of offering exclusive design, fully accessible for our customers, expanding the accessibility to countries throughout the world. This new show format exemplifies both the energy and
democracy of fashion and we hope that it will empower all women."

As a pioneer in both fit and style, OneStopPlus.com will showcase its chic new collection for Fall 2011 during this virtual runway first, “Sultrous Garden” themed collection. Leading curvy model Robyn Lawley will
confidently walk the runway, modeling 30 looks from “Collection by OSP,” a premiere brand created exclusively for the fashion show. Broken into six groups comprised of Bark, Bird, Flower, Cloud, Leaf and Branch, the collection is made up of asymmetrical silhouettes with symmetric patterns and supple fabrics, creating visual tension and balance. Each look is carefully crafted to embrace curves, giving plus-size women the same options as their size two counterparts.

“Acknowledging and celebrating the curves of the female form by engineering the prints in the collection to highlight the shape of a woman’s body was the inspiration behind our ‘Sultrous Garden’ theme,” said Zahir Babvani, VP Design at OneStopPlus.com. “For Fall 2011, I’ve fallen in love with deep, saturated colors that are seductive and sultry, with silhouettes of effortless fluidity.”

My Pumps and I ... a love story :)

Morning!

Bump waiting until February 14th when it's all chocolates and roses.. I found love... or at least lust.

I dreamed about them... and kept telling myself that I needed to put them on my "lust list". On this particular morning I woke up that morning dreaming of an outfit (it happens) that included these shoes exactly. I walk to my office and once again thinking about the shoes, even chatting with my friend about it- when lo and behold as she signed off to get work done I get a 50% off coupon in my email. At first I thought it was a joke, I'm a complete believer that the internet is smarter than we think so somehow the site "saw me" and sent me a coupon in response to my web visit.

So I sat there lusting until I decided that I was doing too much thinking and not enough buying - I mean I did buy 4 pairs of shoes just days before and received another pair of shoes the night before - for someone who needs to be saving money I wasn't. BUT I was dreaming of a red round-toe platform pump so didn't that deserve some acknowledgment?

So I got them for way less than I expected... life is grand !!

These shoes will add to my growing number of red shoes, but that's besides the point... (psst I bought them before No-Buy Month, so I'm in the clear!)

Has there ever been an item that you felt was just meant to be yours?

What J is Jonesin' For During No-Buy Month

Morning!

I said I think I needed an intervention on Twitter so I guess that means I need to really do it ... I joined in Frugalista's No-Buy Month challenge.  I know I did the 90 day challenge last year but I felt that I was starting to slip and indulge myself a little too much, so this challenge came right on time.

For 28 days (the only time I think I am thankful for Feb. being a short month) I will not buy clothes, shoes or make up - I will not spend money to go out to eat, basically I will not be touching my wallet. These no-buy challenges really help me put things in perspective so I won't be surprised if this becomes something I do annually.  It's not easy especially when the sales come or an event comes up but when the number in my bank account stays healthy it balances out, don't you think? In addition it allows me to continously get creative with my clothes.

So even though I can't buy anything this month, I can still jones and hope that these items will be available on March 1st ;)

1.My friend's addiction to nail polish has renewed my interest in nail polish - I am nowhere near her level, but I do have a new found appreciation to perfect my manicure. This bottle  is sold out EVERYWHERE! (not counting Ebay or Amazon, I refuse to pay $20 because it's such in high demand) ... I have plans for this bottle. Black Shatter by Opi; MBeautyLounge $7.25.

2.  My shoe habit will never, EVER get old . Mena Dress Boot, Christian Siriano for Payless, $59.99.

3. I've been jonesin' for a serious night out and I would love this  dress from Monif C's new Spring Collection! I've been loving this dress since it came in an autumn shade this past August... I guess I still NEED this dress in my life. "Marilyn" Ruched Convertible Dress in Coral, Monif C, $215.

4.I love the combination of military structure with feminine lace. Can you imagine this with dark jeans or a bright A-line skirt?!! Lace Military Jacket, City Chic, $62.

5.  I really, really , really hope this dress is still available when my no-buy month is over. Green/Orange Stripe Dress, Dorothy Perkins $64.

What are you jonesin' for this month?  What do you think of no-buy challenges?
