Morning!
I don't know if it's the hope of warmer weather but I've been in a spring state of mind lately. Perhaps it's this recent picture of Mrs. Obama aka FLOTUS on a recent trip to Brazil that's had me on hunt for abstract watercolors pieces to rock this spring.

I then saw this picture , she looks stunning in this bright hued watercolor sheath.

I then scoured the net - with 1 prom, 2 weddings, 3 graduations and 5 semi-formal events to attend this spring, I'm determined that I will "watercolor" myself at least once. (I will do my best to pictures, since I know I am awful at remembering to do so)
Take a look at what I've found so far... some of the pieces I wouldn't wear for the special occasions I mentioned but they're something I would incorporate into my closet somehow...

I'm still a work in progress but I'm proud that I suppressed my urge to buy before I searched my own closet to see if I had any watercolor inspired pieces... I do! I do!
psst if anyone can find that Thakoon dress in my size let me know!
Are there any FLOTUS inspired looks that you've rocked?

Doesn't Michelle always look stunning?
I've probably bought 5 cardigans in the last year inspired by the elegant Mrs. Obama. I love her.
