I won't be able to go to Full Figured Fashion Week(end) - I thought I would be able to pull a last minute stunt (like stowaway) but it didn't work out that way. I'm bummed but I know that the other fabulous members of The Curvy Collective will be there to give you all the full-figured greatness that will go on this weekend.

What J is Jonesin' For: I feel Fall.. don't you?

Morning!!

 It's cold and dreary out here - maybe I like to point fingers but I blame the bad weather for my erratic shopping habits. What I'm jonesin' for this month is a mixture of things - lately it's been accessories to jazz up my wardrobe, pieces to warm me up since it's freezing out here and whatever else I can think of. 


  I have boots for days... but it never hurt anybody to buy more, right? ( I feel another No Shop coming on- the lessons learned are leaving me)

Full Figured Fashion Week(end)™ arrives in Los Angeles, October 28^th- 30^th and to lead the way through the internet is Full Figured Fashion Week(end)™’s Curvy Collective. As plus-size fashion continues to be hotly debated, leading this charge is a dynamic group of the plus size community’s leading fashion bloggers- The Curvy Collective.  Created to capture, expose, and share up-to-the-minute news for Full Figured Fashion Week(end) ™ Los Angeles, The Curvy Collective fashions a network of bloggers to leverage their blogs and social media platforms to facilitate the latest news, exclusively for Full Figured Fashion Week™.  

Curvy Collective co-founders, Marie Leggette of The Curvy Fashionista and Johara Tucker, of Luvin’ My Curves, launched the collective in Spring of 2009 with the inception of Full Figured Fashion Week ™.

“The State of the Curvy Community” Panel Discussion

The Curvy Collective will host the panel discussion: “The State of the Curvy Community” Friday, October 29^th from 4-6pm at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza. Moderated by Chenese Lewis, panelists will address the climate of plus size in the media, the progress, challenges, and successes of the curvy community.
