Spring, (even though it felt more like winter this weekend!) always tends to bring out the airy, and "sweet" details in the season's trends.
One thing I'm seeing all over the place and starting to appreciate more are sheer and nude pieces; items that are more "rose" than pink, more ivory than white, even the soft oatmeal colors work this season. Take a look and tell me what you think :)
Crochet Charm $38, Missphit
Whimsy Bow Tee $38, LucieLu
Kariylynn Tunic $34, B&Lu
Boudoir Dress $148, Kiyonna
Ivory Garbardine Ruched Blazer $54, Torrid
Ivory Eyelash Miniskirt $24.98, Torrid
Kelsi Dagger Nude Wedge $148, Urban Outfitters
Iridescent Cluster Stretch Ring $9.90, Avenue
What I appreciate about this sheer trend is that most of the pieces I've found are about being transparent, thus showing things that most of us don't want to see. It's a sexy and subtle side, that when done right is fun to wear.
What I've been doing to "2 for 1" this trend is pairing it with soft colors (like a pale yellow cardigan) one time and then putting it with a bright color (red pencil skirt) the next go-round.
How do you go in the buff?

I was just thinking about this the other day... thanks for these options... I'm loving the rosettes on that tunic!

I'm not really a "nudist" when it comes to colors in fashion or beauty. However, I have gotten very pastel-y lately. Mints and a soft blues.
I love the Ivory Garbardine Ruched Blazer by Torrid! Cute and could be worn with a ton of different dresses...or pants...or jeans!
Lovz the prom pic...
