Today's "Luvin' Her Look" submission is fellow blogger, Valerie from Belgium. The more people I meet the more I'm encouraged that more and more of us curvy girls are breaking out the oversized pants & baggy shirt stigma. I get excited when I see skirts, dresses, cool prints and of course color!
Take a look!
Monsoon dress, Stuart Weitzman platforms, Torrid belt.
psst, where did you get that grey jacket?
What's your personal style?
I guess that the best way to describe my personal style is girly. When I was younger I was practically living in jeans, tshirts and sweaters because the choice of plus size trendy clothes was very limited in Belgium. These days I don't think it's that much better. We are starting to see specialized boutiques but they tend to carry more classic clothes. But what has changed is that thanks to the internet I now have access to trendy plus size shops like Torrid. I also travel a lot to London where I always stock up on Monsoon dresses. I just love them! I also like to keep up with trends but don't embrace them all. It's all about finding what works for you and what doesn't.
Thanks Valerie! Make sure to take a look at Valerie's blog Blog to Be Alive
What do you all think, are you luvin' her look?
What I like about doing Luvin' Her Look is that you all get to see different interpretations of personal style. What may work for one, may not work for another but yet and still it's all about what makes you feel good and confident when you walk out the door.
Are you interested in being a Luvin' Her Look feature? If you have fun with your clothes and you're not afraid to show it off, send some photos, tell me what you're wearing and a description of your own personal style to luvinmycurves@gmail.com. I'll also need your name, age and where you're from.

GOOOOO Valerie!!! I love her style, very fun and she’s not afraid of patterns and bright colors. I’m all for it! I love that yellow dress with the tights and the shoes to match :)
Thanks again for featuring me on your blog! :)
Btw the grey leather jacket is from a German brand called Hücke.
It's not too over the top- a very relaxed and comfortable look. I'm from Tokyo and just like Valerie there aren't many plus size options here so I depend on the Internet and occasional trips to build my wardrobe.
She is gorgeous and always have nice mix for her clothes!
