Call it what you want; jumpsuit or catsuit... the one piece ensemble is a piece that many women are on the fence about. There's no mistaking that it's a versatile piece, but in the same vein it's one of those items that causes body apprehension in many. (Seriously, who strives for camel toe?)
I used to be against jumpsuits, however I've seen it pulled off seamlessly and now have a new found appreciation for the jumpsuit. I've done the "dressing room shuffle" , testing out if the jumpsuit is for me. The jury is still out on that one but I found a couple of jumpsuits that are cute and worth a look, check them out:
Jumpsuit, Jessica London via One Stop Plus $34.99
Strapless Jumpsuit, $180 - Grown & Sexy Jumper, $180 both by Qristyl Frazier Designs
Pinstriped 2fer Jumper $50.98, Torrid
Tube top Linen Jumper $79 & Linen Halter Jumper $94, both by Baby Phat
Here are some tips for rockin' that jumpsuit:
1. Break it Up! Find a belt or blazer to break up the monotony of the jumpsuit.. have fun with it!
2.It's all in the fabric- who says that a jumpsuit has to be shiny satin? Why not jersey material? Choose fabrics that can help to conceal whatever you're trying to hide.
3. It's all in the accessories; shoes, jewelry, the bag and the belt- WERK IT!
4. Beware of the patterned jumpsuit- depending on your frame it may not work for you. Feel free to follow rule #1 and break it up a bit.
So what do you think of the jumpsuit, yay, nay or maybe? Think you might try a jumpsuit? Let me know!

I think that the jumpsuits are a yay! But it really depends on how you dress the jumpsuit, meaning shoes, accessories, hairstyle, etc. etc. I've never worn a jumpsuit before, that babyphat one is cute! Wonder if they got it in my size...
I'm a maybe- if I can get bold enough to try them on and find one that suits me well then I'll go for it. I'll just have to spanx/miraclesuit it up in order to make the tummy go away.
definitely a yay!
I think the catsuit can work very well. Like most clothing items, it just requires the right attitude and the right body/shape for it. I think it works well on women with lots of leg and curves. I find that it can make a tall woman look even taller/more statuesque. They don’t hide any curves, lumps, or bumps, so comfort in your own skin is a MUST when rocking the catsuit!
I have to say maybe... I really like some jumpsuits but I am nervous to see how I look in one. But some of the jumpsuits you have pictured are FLY, so I might have to try it out ASAP.
Jumpsuits are a yeah only per body...One might be a yeah for someone else but just doesn't go right for another person personally I want one LOL
i tried one on at rainbow...(i know don't judge me) and it was a yay...until the bottom looked like it was swallowing me whole...
so, i say unless you are tall or have heels or have it cropped so you won't look like a child in it...yay...
also...SPANX and/or body shapers to you know..keep it all in...yay! lol
I'm gonna go with a 'nay' for me - but it can be a 'ya' fr others. Like the comment before me, you goota have spanx and the right accesories.
YAY! I love jumpsuits and even though Im a big girl I do not shy away from them. with the right shoes & accessories they can look very nice and well put together.
I am not sure about the jumpsuit, but if I found the right romper, I would say Yeah!
