It's that time of year again... yes White Party Season. I've gotten a handful of emails asking for tips on what to wear and most of all how to stand out in a white outfit. Basically I've been "told"- "No more standing on the wall, this curvy girl needs to be the baddest chick in the party". Well, alright then... let's proceed.
White Party's are pretty chic, understated formal and just has a "ultra chill" vibe associated with them. It does take some prior planning to find the right outfit, as many people don't have a whole lot of white in their closet (besides the basic white t-shirt, and blouse) but when pulled off correctly it has the most dazzling effect.

Stick with material that fits you well instead of only what fits....it'll show more in white. Oh and if you're prone to spilling drinks stick the clear libations. ;) Hope this helps!

Step 2: How to Stand Out
It's all in the shoes & the accessories. Even if you wore the most basic white dress, it's your accessories that will turn your outfit out! You can choose to go the bright route- loud in color and shape or go with the White Party classic, Metallics! You might even dig to go completely all-white but if you want to stand out, I say bring out the big guns with statement accessories & shoes.
