I like it. When we see her in gowns, it's usually to promote a movie or on the red carpet of the Oscar's. The wardrobe choices of those attending the Oscar's vs. the Grammy's is going to be different. While in "performer" mode, I see nothing wrong with her channeling her inner rock star. She's doing a great job separating the two, so it's time for us to do the same.
Nope...doesn't work for me. Aside from the Grace Jones/Star Trek look it doesn't work for her shape at all. I can appreciate the effort but its creating the wrong illusion. Her ass cant carry it off. She looks like she swallowed an egg. Not an outfit to wear if you have no waist.
I think she rocked it, I mean how many plus sized women could pull off that look with confidence? It's a nice change from the usual gowns and dresses
Interesting, to say the least - and daring. I'm sorta kinda feeling it - still gave it a sideeye though ... lol. Hair and make-up is on point ... as usual.
I LOVE it! It's a nice mix of how she is when she's not in the public eye on the streets of Jersey (How YOU Doin Quuen) and how she is when professionally styled.
My only issue with Queen is that she always seems to be missing or wearing inappropriate foundation (aka girdle) under her frocks....someone help a sista out! lol

I know I couldn't rock an outfit like that so, I'm glad the Queen threw down, strutted, and made it work. The AI finale has always been a young, fresh, and vibrant evening and a glam dress would not have fit in. I'll still be skeptical about onesies on a curvy figure, however Queen Latifah rocked it.
I like it! I think she looks FIERCE (as Tyra would say it). Work it Queen.
