Good Morning!
Happy New Year to everyone!
I know I'm a bit late on my greeting but I started going back to the abyss I call Bar Review and trying to get back into the swing of things. So far it's hard to get back the momentum I had in the summer but all I can do is my very best.
Lafei writes, "I'm determined to lose weight for 2009, which means I've got to get into the gym but I have two problems 1. Everyone in there is skinny and their workout wear is coordinated, what do you wear? and 2.I can't find a sports bra to fit my G cups, any advice?"
For the gym I keep it simple usually wearing capri leggings or yoga pants and a t-shirt... I used to wear baggy sweats and shirts, but threw them out because I refuse to cover up unnecessarily. I've started to wear a lil' bit of eye shadow and foundation because it makes me feel good & there are some really cute fellas at my gym. :)
Here are some affordable picks....
Just my Size: Jersey Crew Neck $6.99 & V-Neck $6.99
Old Navy: Jersey Yoga Pant $19.50, Yoga Capri $4.99 ; Piping Accent Activewear Pant $24.50, Lane Bryant
Active Hooded Jacket, $29.99 Danskin, Piped Active Jacket $16.50, Old Navy
Don't forget the sneakers! Cross-trainers are good for support,New Balances are a good look:
Other places to check out:
Junonia (has a great selection and is worth a look but is more on the more expensive side)
Always For Me
Alight
Danskin
As for bras.... you've asked the right "boobified" sister. There's something to be said for a good sports bra. It literally used to hurt when I ran on the treadmill- I can't stress SUPPORT enough and finding a sports bra that "contained me" was a challenge...
My picks...
My picks...
(from l to r): Enell $64-$66 - (my sports bra of choice- I can jump and my girls don't follow), Champion Full-Figure Underwire, $42 (DD), Shock Absorber, $50 (this bra didn't support me much but I've heard gret reviews from others), Fiona $44, Moving Comfort
Pricey yes.. but well worth the cost, the "girls" will thank you! trust!

Good luck with the studying- and thanks for taking the time to answer my question, I like your choices. My mom tells me that I should throw out the sweats too, great minds!
Glad you posted some sports bra info...I would also suggest, Intimacy Boutique (only in certain cities), but they really do cater to every size there! I'm also glad you suggested getting rid of the sweats...they make you feel dumpy...better to look cute and feel good that you are doing something for you to be healthy!
I see you peeked out the cave for a bit hunny, nice to see you.I was hard for me each time to get back in the right frame of mind to study but realize that you know more than you think you do. I swear by Enell when I workout- the girls stay put!
